Before the existence of Spam Brando...
Pics of some of Cindy's previous forays in music preceding the days of Spam Brando. Wish I could put a pic of every band I played with but I have neither the webspace nor the pics themselves.

Owens & Losses...(as in baseball stats - get it?), circa 1978 Country/rock band with TWO steel/guitar players!
(L-R): Tony Prior, Jim Tetunjian, Bruce Owens, Cindy Owens, Ray Gantek
Owens & Losses Part 2 (one Owens left), circa 1978-1979 - still a country/Southern Rock band but now less country and more Southern rock and roll!
(L - R): Ray Campbell (in rear), unidentified-help!, Cindy Owens, John Couch and Steve Albert
Think this was called the Lynch Mob, last I knew, when I was first forced to attempt jazz...1980
(L - R): Leo Lynch, Jimmy Lynch, Cindy Owens (hidden) Not pictured: Dennis Lynch, Chip Hunt and a couple other guys named...uhhhhhhhhh...
Milton and Fred. Yeah, that's it. Old Miltie and Freddie....
Ahhhh, whatta time we had...Joe Neumann and The Tornadoes. Hard core rockabilly and stuff...1980 - 1981
(Clock-wise from upper right)): Walt Theissen, Ed Fredericks, Joe Neumann, Dave CasaGrande, Cindy Owens
We didn't know what a good thing we had till it was gone...how typical...
Opened for the Stray Cats and Steve Forbert...
Another Joe Neumann & The Tornadoes pic, at the Hayloft in New Milford, CT
(L - R): Cindy Owens, Dave CasaGrande, Walt Theissen, Joe Neumann
A happy bunch were we...also played clubs like Toad's Place in New Haven and back then, Waterbury. In New Haven, we started there as the opening act for the B. Willie Smith Band. Now I remember why I became such a fan of swing and the blues....how I miss B. Willie and the gang!

Remember Owens & Losses, cica 1978? Well, this was a new and improved version of same, together for a single gig, in order to play my sister Stacy's wedding reception on September 28, 1984 (hey, the price was good!).
(L - R): Ray Gantek, Gary Hayes, Cindy Owens, Dennis Pedersen, Jim Tetunjian.
The Flem-Tones...what a great name; too bad people got all grossed out over it... Made it a bit difficult to book the band...
(L - R): Scott Perratti, Dennis Peck, Cindy Owens (hidden), Jay (Hirschberg) Scott.
We lasted only a short time using this moniker. In 1989, I decided to drag the Spamster name out from the depths of hell and VOILA...Spam Brando had once again risen from the ashes.

Spam, eggs, sausage, bacon, eggs and Spam....
